Not sure what to put on here today...
Obviously today's events have left all of us with saddened hearts. It especially saddened those of us who were in the town of Blacksburg when the VT massacre took place. A day like today really takes you back to those hours of waiting and anticipation of what was going on and who was affected and if you would go to bed without a loved one that night. However, it also shows you how quickly this country can rally together to remind each other that we are all one and we support our fellow citizens. Words can't express the hurt those families must be feeling but the one point of relief is that those little children are resting in the arms of their heavenly Father tonight. They are no longer feeling pain and they are free to dance in heaven. Maybe some people don't believe in that, but I remain believing that He is taking care of those sweet, innocent, beautiful children even when their parents cannot. Either way, I think today definitely made everyone go home and count their blessings that their loved ones are still there and they get at least one more day with them...
Never take anything for granted because you don't know when it will be gone.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" - Matthew 5:4
